In person -You may submit a work order request to David by simply stopping by the Glass Shop office with a drawing, a photo, or even better, an example of the glassware you would like to have made for you. See the contact information below for a downloadable map that has information on how to get to the Glass Shop.
Via E-mail -If you have a busy schedule and don’t have the time to come here in person, just use the E-mail link below to send David a work request. When you send in the work request, be sure to type “Glass Shop Work Order Request” in the subject line. He will respond to your request as soon as possible during his normal business hours.
To provide you with the highest quality glassblowing services quickly and at a reduced cost, every customer is required to:
- Submit a detailed drawing, sketch, or photo of your project. This drawing or photo will be used to build the apparatus and must have all components and critical dimensions clearly indicated.
- You say you can’t make a good drawing of what you need? David can help you make a sketch or a computer drawing of your project or he can add details to photos you supply. He will make sure that your finished project meets or exceeds all of your expectations.
- Are you going to subject the finished glassware to high pressure, high temperatures, or other unusual conditions? Let him know and indicate this when you submit your work order to him.
- All glassware submitted to the Glass Shop for repair or modification must be clean, dry, and free of chemical contaminates before work can begin!
